Vigil-Logic Certus handles information according to the purpose of the activity, the role we perform, the information involved and the requirements applicable to that processing.

Depending on the engagement, VLC may process organisation information, professional contact information, project-control information, correspondence, website enquiries, supplier information and other information necessary for the stated activity.
Relevant client processing is documented against the stated requirement, authorised activity and governed lifecycle.
Whether VLC acts on a client's instructions or determines a purpose for its own activity depends on the actual processing relationship, not simply the name of a Service.
Information being publicly accessible does not itself establish a universal right to collect, retain, repurpose or contact.
The Contact page prepares an email in your own email application. It does not submit your answers to a website enquiry database. You can review the draft before sending it. We receive the enquiry only when you send the email to enquiry@vigil-logic.com.
We use the name, business email address, organisation and requirement details you provide to assess and respond to your enquiry, clarify scope and discuss a possible engagement. Please do not include datasets, credentials or confidential information in the initial enquiry.
Enquiry correspondence is managed in Google Workspace. Access is limited to authorised personnel responsible for handling enquiries. Your own email provider also processes the message when you send it.
For enquiries that do not become client projects, VLC retains correspondence for no longer than six months after the last meaningful contact concerning the original enquiry. This covers enquiry emails and any downloaded copies or attachments. A specific legal obligation or active dispute may require restricted retention for longer.
Where an enquiry becomes a client project, the applicable project and contractual retention arrangements apply. Provider-managed backups, recovery copies and technical logs have separate retention arrangements; the six-month enquiry period is not a deletion guarantee for those systems.
Client contact records, client-supplied operational data, exclusions, suppression or do-not-contact information, and project-control data are handled for the assigned requirement. They do not automatically become VLC data or enter VLC's intelligence layer.
Once agreed project obligations and completion controls have been satisfied, client contact-level project data is deleted from active processing, subject only to limited restricted retention where law, contract, security, audit or dispute requirements make that necessary.
Client exclusion lists, suppression lists and project-control information are not repurposed for VLC marketing or intelligence activity.
Where limited information must be retained for a required purpose, it remains restricted and is not returned to operational use merely because it still exists.
VLC may retain independently established organisation-level intelligence where it is genuinely non-personal, supportable and lawfully reusable. Named-person information does not become non-personal company intelligence merely because it is associated with an organisation.
VLC does not use client project contact data to build its own marketing database. Where VLC undertakes its own business-development activity, applicable jurisdiction, recipient type and communication requirements are considered, and objections or opt-outs are respected through a separate suppression control.
Hostinger provides website hosting and content delivery. The hosting origin is configured in India and the hosting dashboard identifies Singapore as the backup location. Hostinger CDN distributes website content through edge locations and may process visitor requests outside your country.
Google Workspace provides our enquiry email service. Email and other authorised service providers may process information across jurisdictions. Hosting origin and backup locations do not establish where every provider log or email record is processed.
Hostinger has not confirmed to VLC the exact backend retention periods or processing locations for this website's access, error, CDN and security logs, or the applicable per-site CDN subprocessor assignment. These details remain under review. Provider documentation is available in the Hostinger Data Processing Addendum and Hostinger Privacy Policy. Questions about international processing can be sent to our privacy contact.
VLC applies governance-oriented security controls appropriate to the information, processing environment and operational requirement. Further public assurance is available through the Information Security page.
Depending on the law applicable to the processing, individuals may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent or other applicable data-protection rights. Requests can be sent to privacy@vigil-logic.com.
Where VLC processes information solely on a client's instructions, VLC may refer or assist with a request in accordance with the relevant processing arrangement rather than independently changing client-controlled data.
This initial website release does not include Google Analytics 4, advertising tags or embedded social-media tracking. Social links take you to external services, whose own privacy and cookie arrangements apply. Vigil Log is currently marked Coming soon; WordPress publishing is not part of this release.
The website's own scripts do not intentionally set cookies or store enquiry answers in localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. Browser caching of website files and your email application's handling of drafts are separate from website enquiry storage.
Hostinger CDN may present a browser-verification challenge under conditional or automatic protection. A successful check may set a verification cookie to avoid repeated challenges. Its exact name and lifetime have not been confirmed to VLC. Disabled explicit challenge settings do not rule out automatic protection.
Hostinger processes technical request information for website operation and security, including timestamps, requested resources, IP-address information and browser or device information. This can occur without a browser cookie. The control panel's reporting window is not a backend deletion deadline.
GA4 is deferred from the initial release. Before adding optional analytics or other tracking, we will review the processing, update this notice and implement the consent controls required for the technologies and audiences involved.
VLC may update this notice as its services, technology, providers or applicable obligations change. Privacy questions can be directed to privacy@vigil-logic.com.
Contact the dedicated VLC privacy route so the request can be identified and handled through the appropriate process.
